The girls’ are the primetime Saturday evening presenters on Virgin Radio, their big break was presenting for Verge Magazine, with whom they covered some of the biggest music events including Wireless Festival and Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and they flew to Tennessee with Plan B to record a documentary for Jack Daniels.
They have since been seen and heard: BBC radio 1xtra (weekly slot), daybreak, 4od, the alan titchmarsh show and BBC free speech.
They featured in “The Secret Life of Twins”, recently aired on ITV and their documentary, “It Takes Guts”, just premiered on CBC in Canada.
They have hosted events such as ‘Musicalize‘ at London O2 and Emerging Icons, Festifeel, Junk Kouture, Tommys awards and the Ents Forum Awards and have regular columns in the Huffington Post, Evening News and Standard Issue magazine and run their own Youtube Channel Mactube. The girls were named 1 of 4 Scottish Cultural Innovators by Ted Baker and their first chat show Mac Yourself at Home was a complete sellout at the Edinburgh Fringe, where they had the Fringe’s biggest stars like Russell Kane and Joel Dommett on the sofa for a natter. Over the past 2 weeks the girls have filmed and recorded for Radio 4, Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped and BBC Horizon, all airing this Summer.
Last year the mac twins brought their groundbreaking immersive club night ‘play’ to the festival and played to almost 10,000 people.
PLAY showcased as one of the top acts of the Fringe. They work very closely with Twin Research and regularly feature in worldwide news features discussing their findings and presenting new studies.
